Job Description
The SEER Group LLC is currently seeking a Regional Accounting Manager for our brands. As a Regional Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in aligning new partner companies with our financial best practices and overseeing the implementation and utilization of our financial information systems and processes. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Accounting functions, ranging from executing the month end close process to budgeting and from expense management to financial analysis.

As a Regional Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional accounting roles. You will collaborate closely with brands to ensure financial practices align with SEER standards, assist in managing financial plans and requests, and provide valuable insights into daily financial operations within your region.
Through building strong relationships with each of our brands, you will serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries. Leveraging our financial systems, you will ensure that all locations comply with financial regulations, SEER KPI deadlines, and overall financial reporting. Acting as a strategic partner to the Corporate Controller, you will contribute to network-wide financial development, strategy, and administration. The overarching goal is to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the accounting department, delivering maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Work Location: Remote (This is a remote position but candidates must live in CA, OR, or WA)
Job Type: Hybrid
Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year, Exempt

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (some weekend availability may be required)
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all regional financial operational functions, utilizing QuickBooks and Service Titan ERPs.
- Coordinate and prepare timely internal financial statements for the assigned region.
- Oversee state and local regulatory reporting, specifically focusing on use/excise taxes and licensing requirements in the region.
- Establish and manage the regional budget process in alignment with corporate financial objectives.
- Manage and monitor all regional accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the monthly close process at the brand level as necessary based on specific needs of each brand
- Oversee the annual audit process to ensure all requests for the brands are executed timely
- Enforce internal controls specific to the region to maximize the protection of company assets, adherence to policies, procedures, and streamline workflow processes.
- Assist brands in the implementation of SEER financial processes and systems.
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all financial actions and decisions within the region.
- Cultivate and maintain healthy working relationships with all regional brand accounting teams to foster a collaborative financial environment.

Job Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting/Accounting experience
- Prior experience managing the full accounting cycle and a deep understanding of the transactional cycle (AP/AR, GL, payroll)
- Prior supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Accounting law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations, and reporting
- Professional accounting certification preferred (CMA, CPA, CGA, or CA)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- HVAC or trade accounting experience preferred
