Job Description
The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols in partnership with our brand partners across multiple states within the HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Home Services industries. This role requires a proactive individual with extensive knowledge of safety regulations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders. The Safety Coordinator will team up with our brand partners to ensure each adheres to industry standards and legal safety requirements.
Salary: $85,000 - $115,000/annual

Responsibilities of the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program Manager:
- Develop, implement, and update comprehensive safety programs and policies tailored to the specific needs of each brand partner.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to minimize workplace hazards.
- Design and conduct safety training programs for employees across the our portfolio of brand partners.
- Provide ongoing education on best practices, emergency procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain records of training activities and employee certifications.
- Lead investigations of workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports on accidents, including root cause analysis and recommendations for prevention.
- Ensure timely communication of safety incidents to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in safety laws and regulations that may impact the industry.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with our insurance agencies to ensure policy compliance and reduce expenses.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all brand partners to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and monitor action plans to address identified safety issues.
- Work closely with the Executive Team and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with brand partners to share best practices and ensure consistency in safety procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, including inspections, incident reports, and training logs.
- Ensure all documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for all brand partners.
- Coordinate regular emergency drills and ensure all employees are familiar with emergency procedure#HVAC
Job Requirements
Qualifications for the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety coordinator or similar role, preferably in the HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Home Services industry.
- Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations or brand partners is a plus.
- Commercial construction experience is highly desired.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent is required.
- Additional certifications in safety management, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex safety data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
