Position: Lead HVAC Installer
Location: Tigard, OR 97223
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (must be flexible to customer needs and length of the job)
Pay: $30 - $45/hr (DOE)
Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision 100% paid for by the employer, 401K with up to a 4% employer match, Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
Extras: Company vehicle and cell phone. Uniforms, boot allowance, and starter tools are provided.

Lead HVAC Installer Position Summary:
The Lead HVAC Installer will install heating and air conditioning equipment in residential customers' homes. This includes equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and other related components. The Lead HVAC Installer will also lead the work of junior installers to maintain our high quality and timely job performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes
  • Equipment troubleshooting, installation, start-up, operation, and other
  • Installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings
  • Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational
  • Measuring ductwork
  • Installation of all equipment accessories
  • Perform simple low and high-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners
  • Braze line sets
  • Test line sets, evacuate and charge systems
  • Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle
  • Follow all safety and training per company policy and procedure
  • Ensure that the company vehicle is maintained and in operating order
  • Participate and attend all required employee meetings and training
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Lead HVAC Installer Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
  • EPA Type II certification.
  • Proficiently install furnaces, AC, HP, and Ductless HP systems.
  • Able to measure duct work and install all equipment accessories.
  • Test line sets evacuate and charge systems.
  • Ability to complete simple low and high-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners.
  • Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
