Job Description
Gropp Heating, Air & Electric, servicing the Moscow and Pullman area for over 30 years, is immediately hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician.
Position: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Moscow, ID
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $25 - $32/hr (DOE)
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 100% paid by the employer. 401K with up to 4% match. Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
Extras: Company-issued vehicle with gas card, uniforms, and tool allowance.

Journeyman Electrician Position Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for installing and maintaining the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings while supporting our HVAC needs. The Electrician will also understand the safety procedures involved with installation and is comfortable using hand tools.

Job Requirements
Journeyman Electrician Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years of previous electrical experience and the completion of a formal apprenticeship.
- Must have a current Idaho Electrical Journeyman Card.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints, extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, the ability to use hand tools and power tools, proficiency in the use of test meters and diagnostic equipment.
- Frequently works in outside weather conditions.
- May be required to perform work from ladders and heights.
- Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job.
- Must have a valid driver's license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
