Position: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Kirkland, WA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime as needed
Compensation: $40 - $55 /hr (DOE)

Journeyman Electrician Position Summary:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems within buildings, while also supporting our HVAC needs. You will ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical codes, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
• Install conduits and pipes for electrical wires and cables
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Connect electrical systems to power lines and install circuit breakers
• Diagnose issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and recommend solutions
• Test and inspect electrical systems to determine repair needs
• Supervise and train others in the installation and repair of electrical components

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of electrical experience and completion of a formal apprenticeship
• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
• Knowledge of HVAC industry and corresponding equipment is a plus
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in moderate to heavy conditions
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
• Must be able to see color for color-coded wiring

Work Environment:

• Frequently works outdoors in varying weather conditions
• May encounter extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and moderate noise levels

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel within King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties; occasional travel to other counties may be required
