Job Description
Mike's Mechanical, Servicing the Lewis & Clark Valley for over 30 years with and an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau, is hiring for a Licensed Electrician to join our team!
Job Title: Licensed Electrician
Location: Lewiston, ID 83501
Pay: $20 - $40/hr (DOE)
Schedule: M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm (must be flexible to customer needs and length of job)
Benefits: 401K with up to a 4% employer match. Medical, dental and vision–100% paid for by the employer. Paid holidays, vacation and Idaho paid sick leave.
Extras: Company provided uniforms, vehicle to commute from job to job with gas card. Tool allowance.
Position Type: Full-time
Licensed Electrician Position Summary:
The electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings while supporting our HVAC needs. The electrician will also understand safety procedures involved with installation and is comfortable using hand tools.

Job Requirements
Licensed Electrician Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Must have a current Idaho electricians license
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
- Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints, extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, the ability to use hand tools and power tools, proficiency in the use of test meters and diagnostic equipment
- Frequently works in outside weather conditions
- May be required to perform work from ladders and heights
- Minimum three (3) years of previous electrical experience and the completion of a formal apprenticeship
- Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job
- Must have a valid driver's license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy
