We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage our IT infrastructure and cloud applications. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, SharePoint, Help Desk operations, and overall security measures.
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000/annual
Benefits: 401(k), Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Occasional extended hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs.)
Work Location: Remote (West/Mountain Time Zone preferred)

Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Office 365 environments, including user management, licensing, and service integrations.
- Lead Active Directory and Entra ID migrations, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Administer SharePoint environments, including configuration, user permissions, and site management.
- Ensure robust Help Desk support, providing timely resolution of technical issues and managing a team of support staff.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's IT assets and data.
Monitoring and KPIs:
- Develop, track, and analyze KPIs related to IT infrastructure performance, including system uptime, response times, and user satisfaction.
- Utilize monitoring tools to assess infrastructure health and performance, and implement improvements based on data insights.
- Generate regular reports on IT infrastructure performance and KPIs, and present findings to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement by setting and evaluating targets for service levels, incident resolution times, and other relevant metrics.
Networking and IT Infrastructure:
- Maintain and support network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Ensure connectivity and performance for all networked devices and services.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to address and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Change Management:
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure changes, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and execute change management plans, including communication strategies, impact assessments, and training.
- Monitor and report on the success of changes, ensuring that objectives are met and issues are addressed.
Customer Service and Communication:
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring IT services and support meet or exceed user expectations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including end-users, senior management, and other IT teams.
- Handle strong personalities and high stressed individuals with professionalism and care.
Strategic Planning and Improvement:
- Develop and execute strategies for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or tools to enhance IT operations and security.
- Manage vendor relationships and service agreements to support IT infrastructure needs.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to IT infrastructure.
- Facilitate quality control sessions and ensure consistent information delivery.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, SharePoint, and Help Desk operations.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID migrations.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure components.
- Experience with security best practices and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and drive KPIs related to IT infrastructure performance.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience in managing and implementing change effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
Skills:
- Experience with cloud services and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for IT service management.
