Position: HVAC Service Technician
Location: Tigard, OR 97224
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. / based on daily service calls, possible weekend work.
Compensation: $25 - $40/hr

HVAC Service Technician Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the installation, servicing & repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and thermostats.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment
- Perform emergency repairs and ensure timely response to service requests
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall system performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure all parts are loaded and accounted for per each job
- Check work for errors and correct them if necessary
- Maintain a professional appearance with clients and customers
- Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental agencies
- Ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new HVAC technologies
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
HVAC Service Technician Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 5+ years of HVAC installation or maintenance experience
- EPA Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- NATE Certification preferred (We will help you obtain if you get hired)
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to lift 100lbs or more
- Must have strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, sun)
- Able to navigate stairs and other uneven surfaces, sometimes while carrying heavy items
- Ability to work on a ladder, roof, in attics and crawl spaces
