Service Technician in a Nutshell
The service technician’s role is to provide excellent customer service while providing maintenance and repairs on a variety of both residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment
- Diagnose and repair system issues
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Installation of system accessories such as thermostats, whole house air purifiers, and start assist.
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and warranty services as needed
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment
- Promote and offer system accessories and services that will help keep the systems in top working order.
- Conduct performance tests and adjust systems settings accordingly
- Offer and promote the benefits system maintenance contracts to the homeowner
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment on the vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year of previous HVAC service tech experience
- NATE certified
- CFC universal qualified
- R-22 and R-410 certified
- Must be able to lift/move a minimum of 100lbs
- Ability to use basic hand tools, meters and other hand-held electronic devices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in the elements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Work Schedule
- Full-time - Monday through Friday
- 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (must be flexible to customer needs and length of job)
