Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning, one of the most widely known companies serving South Puget Sound consumers' home comfort needs, is immediately hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team!

Position: HVAC Service Technician
Location: Puyallup, WA
Pay: $27 - $32 /hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with OT as needed

HVAC Service Technician Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC heating and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Service Technician will inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment.;

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair system issues
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
  • Perform preventative equipment maintenance and warranty services as needed
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment
  • Conduct performance tests and adjust systems settings accordingly
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment on the vehicle
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and promptly communicate them to the office

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for an HVAC Service Technician:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous HVAC service tech experience
  • NATE certified
  • CFC universal qualified R-410 certified
  • Must be able to lift/move a minimum of 75lbs.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, meters and other hand-held electronic devices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoor in the elements, in crawls, attics and other tight spaces
  • High school diploma, HVAC trade school or equivalent
  • Technology savvy and comfortable using tablets for work assignments
  • Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
  • Must pass all background checks and pre-employment screening
  • There is a ZERO tolerance policy for drugs or alcohol
  • The ability to successfully interact with your co-workers daily
