Position: HVAC & Fireplace Installation Technician (Level 1)
Location: Troutdale, OR
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation: $21 - $25 /hr
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 100% paid by the employer. 401K with up to 4% employer match. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an HVAC & Fireplace Installation Technician (Level 1) to join our growing team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals with 6 months–2 years of HVAC installation experience who also bring fireplace installation or service background. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you’ll install, maintain, and service wood, gas, and electric fireplaces as well as residential HVAC systems. This position offers career advancement opportunities, training support toward certifications (such as NFI and LPG Fitter’s), and a pathway to becoming a fully independent installer.
What You’ll Do

Assist with installation and maintenance of HVAC systems and fireplaces according to company and manufacturer standards.

Prepare tools, parts, and equipment for each job to ensure efficiency.

Support inspections, troubleshoot issues, and help correct installation errors.

Maintain professionalism and deliver excellent customer service in every home.

Follow all company and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.

Safely use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and equipment in a variety of environments.

Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations.
Job Requirements
What We're Looking For

6 months - 2 years of HVAC installation experience.

Prior experience with fireplace installation or service strongly preferred.

Valid Driver's License (required).

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift 80+ lbs.

Professional demeanor, effective communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Willingness to work in all weather conditions and navigate tight or elevated spaces.
Preferred (Not Required)

EPA Certification.

NFI Certification or LPG Fitter's License (company will help you obtain).
