HVAC Assistant Installer
Job Description
Columbia NW is looking for an Assistant Installation Technician to add to the team. The Assistant Installation Technician is responsible for the assistance of installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Position: HVAC Assistant Installation Technician
Job Type: Full-Time; Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities
• Assist in the Installation of HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and thermostats
• Collaborate with team members to improve overall system performance and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure all parts are loaded and accounted for per each job
• Check work for errors and correct them if necessary
• Maintain a professional appearance with clients and customers
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental agencies
• Ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
• Stay updated on industry advancements and new HVAC technologies
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Must have strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have valid drivers license, and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
- Must be physically able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
