Job Title: Energy Assessor
Location: Rocklin, CA
Pay: $20 - $30/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Benefits: 401K with up to a 4% employer match. Medical, Dental, and Vision–100% paid for by the employer, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick Leave.

Energy Assessor Position Summary:
The Energy Assessor is responsible for ongoing energy upgrade programs, home performance testing, energy modeling, and data collection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed energy assessments to document existing building conditions and identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Perform blower door, duct leakage tests, carbon monoxide analysis, combustion, and appliance efficiency testing.
- Inspect and evaluate mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Collect and analyze field data related to energy usage and input into modeling software.
- Identify and prioritize potential energy efficiency measures, savings potential, and technologies.
- Prepare energy assessment reports based on analytic findings with detailed specifications and cost savings analysis.

Job Requirements
Energy Assessor Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 2 years experience in Building Science related fields such as BPI, HERs, or equivalent required
- BPI Building Analyst Certification
- NGAT Certification and Combustion Analysis skills
- Knowledge of energy modeling software, Blower Door Testing, Duct Leakage Testing
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, stay organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to interact comfortably and appropriately with property owners and managers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and possess a clean driving record to drive company vehicles.
