Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning, one of Puget Sound Energy's select heating and air conditioner contractors and five-time recipient of its Platinum Achievement Award is immediately hiring a hard-working, and career-driven Electrical Apprentice.
Job Title: Electrical Apprentice
Location: Lakewood, WA 98439
Pay: $16 - $22/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with overtime as needed to meet business needs
Position Type: Full-time
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision – 100% paid for by the employer. 401k with a 4% company match. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
Electrical Apprentice Position Summary:
The Electrical Apprentice is responsible for assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential electrical systems in full support of safety, operations, and productivity initiatives.
Job Requirements
Electrical Apprentice Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 2+ years of previous relevant experience.
- Must be currently enrolled or working on enrollment in an approved Apprentice program.
- MUST have a valid Electrical Trainee card issued by the Washington Department of Labor & Industries.
- Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, branch circuits, and specialty systems is required.
- Knowledge of magnetic induction, three-phase transformers, conductors, and wiring methods are required.
- Must be physically able to safely help lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, bend, crawl, and kneel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
