Evergreen Gas Heating & Cooling is a 20-year-old HVAC company specializing in building relationships while providing expert solutions for heating, cooling, and fireplace needs. Evergreen is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper.
Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Sherwood, OR 97140
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Overtime as Needed
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 annually

Bookkeeper Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for all financial, accounting, and regulatory tasks, as well as reporting and compliance. The Bookkeeper will analyze data and trends, assist with financial decisions, and work towards growing the company.

Job Requirements
Bookkeeper Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 5+ years of previous accounting/finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field
- Prior experience managing the full accounting cycle
- Deep understanding of the transactional cycle (AP/AR, GL, payroll)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- HVAC or Trade accounting experience preferred
