Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning, one of Puget Sound Energy's select heating and air conditioner contractors and five-time recipient of its Platinum Achievement Award, is looking for a team-oriented and hard-working Lead HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team.

Job Title: Lead HVAC Service Technician
Location: North King County, Snohomish, & Pierce County WA
Pay: $26 - $31/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Overtime as needed
Position Type: Full-time

HVAC Service Technician Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Tech will provide routine maintenance and service to residential customers, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Run diagnostics, complete repairs, and run routine maintenance on residential gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ductless mini-splits, and ductwork.
  • Educate customers by offering proactive repairs, system upgrades, and maintenance agreements.
  • Use an iPad to create customer invoices and communicate with the office.
  • Travel to job sites within the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in your company vehicle.
  • Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
  • Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain and replace parts, and calibrate the system to manufacturers' recommendations.

Job Requirements

HVAC Service Technician Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience.

  • 4-5 years of HVAC experience
  • Must have a valid EPA certification
  • Ability to measure ductwork and install all HVAC equipment and accessories
  • Test and braze line sets, evacuate and charge systems
  • Ability to complete simple low and high voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners
  • Must be able to lift 100lbs
  • Comfortable working from ladders that are 28’ and possibly higher
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Comfortable working outdoor in the elements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record

Must be willing to travel within the following counties: King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Island. Travel may occur in Seattle, Renton, Seatac, Kent, Auburn.
