Are you looking to learn a trade, learn a new skill and start a new career path? Sturm Heating & Air has an opening for an Entry Level Residential/Commercial HVAC Installer position to learn the heating & cooling trade.

What You'll Be Doing
Learn the HVAC trade - start out learning duct cleaning then move into more advance skills; maintenance on residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems, indoor air quality products and installation. Provide high level of customer service to our clients.

Work Schedule
- Full-time - Monday through Friday
- 7:00am to 3:30pm (weekends, evenings and overtime as needed)

Job Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to learn the HVAC trade - enroll in HVAC courses and/or in-house training programs
- Invest time in service training seminars and classes
- Acquire EPA certification within 3 months of entering the service technician position
- Willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment
- Must be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
- Must be able to lift 100lbs
- Comfortable working from ladders that are 28' and possibly higher
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoor in the elements
- Able to follow written and verbal directions as given
- Must have: drill, snips, measuring tape, screw drivers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record
- Some HVAC/construction experience a plus
Not required but recommended
- CPR training card
- O6A electrical license or O6A training card
- Mech 1 gas license (obtain within first year)
- Universal Refrigeration License (obtain within first year)
